Indopisces Exotica was established in 2000, but our owner Teguh Minarno Wijaya’s experience in the industry goes back to the 1980’s where his passion and interest in the industry first blossomed.
Our company, Indopisces Exotica, takes its name from three core principles. As a proudly Indonesian-owned business, the prefix Indo reflects our heritage. The term Pisces signifies our focus on fish and various aquatic species, while Exotica highlights our commitment to offering unique and exceptional products. Our name reflects our commitment to providing customers with a diverse selection of exotic fish, primarily sourced from Indonesian waters and distributed globally. We prioritize quality and trust in every aspect of our aquarium fish export business.
Our expertise lies in both marine and freshwater species, encompassing a variety of fish, invertebrates, and aquatic plants. We proudly export our high-quality products globally, serving clients in numerous countries such as Australia, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Maldives, Spain, Singapore, Switzerland, and the USA. Our commitment to quality and trust has established us as a reliable partner in the aquarium industry.
We are constantly looking for new customers to partner with and to supply high quality marine and freshwater species worldwide.
Our primary facility is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built structure spanning 6,500 square meters, conveniently situated near Jakarta for easy airport access. Our committed team of 18 professionals works diligently to oversee the operations of our main facility houses over 1,100 glass aquariums and numerous concrete ponds equipped with biological filtration systems and efficient aeration to maintain optimal water quality. A key feature of our facility is the designated quarantine and laboratory areas. These spaces are utilized for newly received livestock from suppliers and for isolating any potentially diseased specimens to prevent outbreaks among the rest of our stock.
This building also has our main office and a showroom featuring aquarium racks, freshwater and marine fish, invertebrates, as well as soft and hard corals.
In alignment with our GO GREEN initiative, we benefit from our proximity to the Cisadane River, which flows through the area. We have implemented a number of initiatives to preserve the river including a water recycling system that channels wastewater from our facility into absorption ponds, allowing it to be naturally reabsorbed into the soil rather than wasted.
In alignment with our commitment to TRUST and QUALITY, as well as the exceptional SERVICES experienced by our esteemed clients, Indopisces Exotica is dedicated to enhancing both the quality and quantity of our offerings.
We are constantly refining our husbandry techniques and technology to ensure we provide the best possible growing and holding systems to help maintain and improve the quality of fish. We also work with our contract growers to ensure they also maintain the best possible quality standards.
All fish are checked for disease prior to shipping and receive the best possible conditioning and preparation for transport before shipping.
At IndoPisces Exotica we believe that companies have a responsibility to be corporate citizens and no only look after our customers but also our staff, stakeholders and nature.
